North Yorkshire Police was formally established on the 1st of January 2017 however, it originally ran as "Northan Yorkshire Police Department" but was moved as a "New start". It covers up to 3000000 studs of land. It operates one police station in the sleepy town of skipton. The force has some of the best trained officers. Those of whom are part of some of the most elite divisions of the force. This force is truly something.

 

The Force is led by PaCC iirxtherford and comprises police officers,  police staff and PCSOs who are working together to deliver the best possible policing service for the community  The PaCC is supported by a command team of 1 Chief Constable and 1 Deputy chief constable.
